Celebrity Fathers & Sons Stand Up For Trayvon Martin on Cover of September Ebony Magazine

Ebony Magazine September 2013

In response to the “not-guilty” verdict in the George Zimmerman trial and the ongoing concern for safety in the African-American community, EBONY magazine has devoted four separate covers of the September 2013 issue to Trayvon Martin and explores the “Stand Your Ground” laws.

Boris Kodjoe (and his son Nicolas), Spike Lee (and his son Jackson), Trayvon’s parents and his brother, Jahvaris Fulton, and Dwyane Wade (and sons Zaire and Zion) are all on four separate covers. The cover story explores concerns around racial bias, how to find solutions for those concerns and how to heal and move forward.

This is a groundbreaking issue and everyone should pick this up!
