Cocoapreneur: Tracey Rhymes Solves Our Shoe Problems With Saphya

She’s currently taking her company to the next level by trying to secure some investors and get her product into national retailers.

“I am working on getting them into stores like DSW or a big shoe chain. I’m trying to go on Shark Tank to get some investors so I’m trying to make it happen on a bigger scale,” she said.

“I stay up late to design shoe straps and I love to design them now. I name the straps after people I know. All of my friends wants me to name one after them so I do it.”

With so many styles to choose from, Saphya has something for everyone.

“One strap can be used for as many shoes as you like. It’s pretty much a personal preference of what styles you like,” she said.

“I cut off all the straps of shoes that already had them and replaced them with mine. I love them.”

Aside from growing her business, Tracey is passionate about sharing her journey with others.

“I’m not a young girl. If I can do this at 49, anyone can do it. Anyone can follow their dream no matter what it is,” she said.

“If you have a dream, follow it. What’s the worst thing that can happen? It works?”
