Sure, he has been quiet for a while since kicking off his love affair with Kim Kardashian but the old school, outspoken Kanye West is back. Yeezy went on one of his “impromptu” rants while performing at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. He went manic talking about corporations and how they try to put logos over concerts, and how he hates business people because creativity fuels everything. But the real punch came at the 6 minute mark.
“Remind me again why we in this shit,” West begins. “Remind me again why the Grammys could suck my dick. Remind me again who’s the original Super Fly. And, I got nothing but love for Hov, but I ain’t f—ing with that ‘Suit & Tie,” Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy told the crowd as an instrumental “Clique” played in the background, which features him and Jay-Z.
And that was just the loudest part of Kanye’s rant about the music industry.
“I hate business people,” West then rapped. “People get on the phone with me and tell me, ‘What kind of business can you do, though? What type of business are you doing? What’s the numbers? How much did you sell? What’s the radio spins? How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and sh-t. Remind me again why we in this sh-t. Can you remind me again why we in this sh-t? Since when [is] making music about getting rich? Since when was making art about getting rich?…Remind me again why we in this sh-t. Remind me again why the Grammys couldn’t suck my d-ck.”
Whoa! Kanye needs a hug, ASAP!
