Call your girlfriends and book your flight now! BET has announced a unique, three-day series of music and comedy concerts, film screenings, live-show tapings, and parties. Kicking off with the Queen B herself, BET is teaming up with the singer on the first stop on her North American tour to also kick off the BET Experience from June 28-30.

Before Beyoncé breaks it down on stage in LA, Mike Epps brings his A-list comedy game to the Club Nokia stage, while Erykah Badu captivates the late night crowd in Club Nokia after Beyoncé’s highly anticipated performance.  On Saturday, June 29, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Miguel and Schoolboy Q will show the world how the West Coast gets down as they headline at STAPLES Center then Club Nokia will feature an exclusive session with The Roots.  On Sunday, Kirk Franklin curates a morning Gospel celebration at Club Nokia. R. Kelly, New Edition and The Jacksons close out the Staples Center Concert Series following the Super Bowl of Black Entertainment; the BET AWARDS broadcasting live from Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.

Talk about an amazing weekend! Oh, and that’s not all. In between the dope performances and after-after parties, BET is hosting celebrity-filled seminars to tackle money, family, relationships, faith, and culture as well as a film fest to showcase hot new documentaries and short films.

For those of you who have been asking BET to do more and be more in our community than just a network of music videos, here is your new and proactive BET. The BET Experience looks like it will be the talk of the summer and a can’t miss event!

“This is the next step in our evolution of the BET AWARDS weekend.  I am proud to say that what we have planned is the greatest celebration of music, entertainment, and culture and I’m thrilled to have Beyoncé kick off our festivities,” said Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks.
