“I just always want to do something different with my hair. I’m willing to try anything. I will go blue, black, red, whatever,” she says.
For her big night, she chose a bright red hue and a short, sexy cut. “I’ve been loving the red and the feedback on it so I said lets do something funky and fun.”
Dressed in a bright pink pantsuit, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star said it felt good to be back to the music.
“I got on the reality show so that I could sing. After the show I had three deals and we went for this one,” she said. “Now I’m off the show and will have my own and the focus will be on me and my career.”
After debuting her single, “V.S.O.P” on 106th & Park, it seems she’s finally back where she belongs.
“The feedback for “V.S.O.P.” has been really crazy. I don’t want no gimmicks. It’s real soul music,” she says of her upcoming album, A Rebellious Soul. “It’s not just crying, but it’s about real life situations. I want to sing what people want to hear.”
While she just dropped an EP last week, we’ll have to wait a little longer for the full album. Its release date has been pushed back to August 13.
“The features that I’m getting are so big, it’s really crazy. So to get all those artists together and deal with the features is a lot,” she says of the delay. “I just want the features to be great.”
