Keri Hilson Is Fed Up With Your Twitter Bashing

Some are saying she had a public meltdown while others are championing her honesty. Whichever way you interpret it, Keri Hilson is standing up for herself. After years and endless tweets from anti-Keri, pro-Beyonce stans, Keri took to Twitter today to say “enough is enough.”

In a series of very open and honest Tweets, Keri said:

It’s TOO much!! Please! Is everything I tweet gonna be “intentionally misinterpreted” as a statement abt someone/drama I know nothing about? You have no idea what your hateful words could do to someone’s spirit. Years of verbal abuse from strangers all day long. Enough is enough! I’m here for MY FANS! I’m stronger than you imagine, but waking up/goin to bed to your ugliness is just TOO MUCH, kids. I get it, ok? You can stop now. As far as WHATEVER ur really mad about, I had my reasons. It’s been yrs! Just chalk it up to your ignorance of my reality and LET…IT…GO. As for my mistakes, God has dealt with me. I’m at peace. I’m fine. I’m fulfilled. Truly happy. Grateful. Ready. Stepping back in. The best is yet to come…..don’t balee me juh watch!

So what or whom exactly is she referring to? Apparently, there are a few music lovers that loathe the 31-year-old Atlanta native. In either case, she’s sending someone a clear message. And we’re proud of her. Bullying isn’t just a problem in school hallways or in small town neighborhoods with kids who don’t fit in. It’s happening every day in chat rooms, comment feeds and yes on twitter. And like Keri said, “enough is enough.” Whichever artist you love most or whichever ones you don’t choose to support, don’t turn your opinions into hateful language. Not only is it just plain wrong and hurtful, but it’s obviously tearing people down.
