Mariah Carey: ‘I Didn’t Sign Up To Be On Love & Hip-Hop’

Diva down?

Sounds like Mariah Carey has had it up to here with all of the back-and-forth Nicki Minaj drama.

Nicki hasn’t slacked up with going at the legend on Twitter; Mariah has remained mostly silent.

But Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon? He’s saying it all for her.

Nick gave an interview to L.A. station KTLA, and hints that Mariah may not be back.

“She didn’t sign up for it, she’s too busy trying to be the world’s biggest superstar mom. She didn’t sign up for that,” he said of Mariah’s reaction to the feud with Nicki. “I wish that experience could be what the show is really supposed to be about. Because she really loves these contestants [and] has a connection with her fellow singers.”

He also adds: “It’s a time when she has so many amazing things going on in her life, if there’s something unstable — I think if they get it stable she might re-look at it, but no one wants to be a part of something unstable.”

Nick also intimates that he believe producers are to blame for fanning the feud.

“My wife foreseen all of this,” Nick said. “She tried to tell the network, ‘I don’t think this is going to work. I’m afraid. I don’t need this. I’m doing this for the brand of ‘American Idol’ … and I love this show, but you’re kind of taking it in the wrong direction because this is going to turn into one of those reality shows. I didn’t sign up to be on ‘Love and Hip-Hop.'”

I agree Mariah is a class act... Nicky is too immature to know how to cope with the realism of her craft. Go Mariah u will shine reguardless. Nicky is just a fad.
