Cynthia Cashing In On ‘RHOA’ Fame?

Cynthia Bailey says she has certainly benefitted from her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as the show provided a platform for her multiple side hustles. The former model has launched her own modeling school and agency, as well as a hair line and her own brand of wine.  “I definitely have benefited from the exposure, launching my business on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but you do [have to be prepared],” she says. “The main thing is don’t overwhelm yourself. Figure out exactly what it is that you want to do, stay focused on that one thing and make that successful. Then you can add things later.” (HuffingtonPost)

Sheree & Her Ex Get No Help From Iyanla?

After an attempt to fix their broken relationship, former RHOA star, Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, failed to make amends. Their poor co-parenting skills were at the top of the agenda, but not much progress was made. Sheree seemed to be seriously upset and unwilling to let her guard down. This is the second unsuccessful installment of Iyanla, Fix My Life Iyanla Vanzant has aired this season. “Whenever the elephants fights…the grass suffers. And the children are the grass,” she said. DMX To Sue OWN Network Over ‘Iyanla’ Episode?

The troubled rapper appeared on the network’s Iyanla, Fix My Life, last week.  The show focused on his drug addiction, but DMX says he only agreed to discuss his addiction to women. Now he wants the footage pulled from the air and he’s already considering his legal options. “Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings,” adding, “That lady is toxic … My last words to her were that she can suck my d**k and she still can.” (TMZ) 

Draya In Hot Water Over Whitney T-Shirts?

The star of Basketball Wives LA, Draya Michele, has big plans for her T-shirt line, Fine Ass Girls.  On Sunday, she posted a picture of an upcoming design that features a young Whitney Houston holding up a ‘say no to drugs’ sign set behind the words “Early 20’s.”  Fans instantly started slamming the reality star for disrespecting the dearly departed diva.  She responded, “FYI, we would never disrespect the diva.  She held up the sign herself…just raising awareness among girls. #early20s.” (MissJia) 

‘Love & Hip-Hop’ Star Drops New Music?

Lore’l, he Love & Hip-Hop newbie released a 16-track mixtape, Billboard Bytch on the heels of her show wrapping last week. “I was shooting the whole time I was recording so a lot of the inspiration I got was from the situations I was going through,” she said. “I just felt like it was about time to let people know what I’ve been working on and what I’ve been doing.” (MTV)
