Grammy and Oscar Award Winner, Jennifer Hudson has just released an emotional new video for her single, “I Still Love You” and the powerful visuals will leave you in tears as it tells the story of a son trying to get his father to accept his homosexuality and attend his wedding
The wedding ceremony in the video takes place at the W Hotel. Hudson is a spokeswoman for the W Hotel and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Turn It Up For Change: Love Has No Limit initiative.
According to E! Online, the HRC aims to “raise awareness about the battle for marriage equality in the U.S.” as well as provides funds to “support the ongoing struggle for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) equality in all realms.”
Hudson will donate proceeds from the sale of the single to the HRC.
“I owe a large part of my success to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, who has embraced and supported me from early on in my career. That is why I am thrilled to join forces with W Hotels and the HRC to use the power of music to promote LGBT equality” said Hudson.
“We have already come a long way on this topic in such a short time, but now it’s time for the final push. It’s time to ‘turn up’ the volume on this crucial human rights issue.”
