The season finale of Black-ish is going out with a bang with an episode set in the 1920s Harlem Renaissance. The star studded episode features appearances by Sean P. Diddy Combs and Mary J. Blige.
The youngest Johnson siblings, Jack and Diane (Miles Brown, Marsai Martin) need to do a report on their ancestry and Pops, (Lawrence Fishburne) is waiting in the wings. He tells the kids a tall tale about theirÂ great-great grandfather, Drexler Johnson, who placed a high stakes bet on their family legacy against cutthroat gangster, Elroy Savoy (Combs).
Savoy is the owner of a swinging Savoy night club where the Johnson ancestors initially connect. In her past life, Dr. Rainbow Johnson (Tracee Ellis Ross) was a showgirl named Bea who slays in a gold sequins dress and finger waves. Bae dances background for the clubs headliner, Mirabelle Calais (Blige).
Legendary choreographer Fatima Robinson (Michael Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Aaliyah) choreographed the Black-ish finale which will air Wednesday at 9:30pm only on ABC. Check the clip from the episode below!
