SAY WHAT? WNBA Star Brittney Griner Cries Over Month-Long Marriage & Says Glory Johnson Is NOT a Lesbian

Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson announced that they are annulling their marriage and have a baby on the way in the same week.

It turns out, a big reason their whirlwind romance fell apart is that one of them isn’t a lesbian!

Baller Alert reports that the couple did an interview with The New York Times insisting Glory is straight.

“Glory is straight,” Griner said. “That was another reason why I thought this could end really bad.”

“I’m not a lesbian,” Johnson added. “But Brittney is different. I still don’t really feel like I’m attracted to females in general. It’s just that I’m attracted to just one person.”

In a new interview with ESPN, WNBA star Brittney Griner opens up about the “huge mistake” she made in marrying fellow athlete Glory Johnson. She breaks down in tears as she describes the last year as “emotional”.

“I shouldn’t have went through with it,” Johnson tells ESPN in reference to the marriage.”You know, sometimes you feel pressured into things, and I went along with it. And I know I shouldn’t have. It was a huge mistake. I just knew it was a mistake.”

On the decision to file for an annulment instead of work through her issues with Johnson, Griner says, “With everything going on with counseling and classes, it wasn’t the right way to start off a marriage, it wasn’t the right way to start off our unity. I wanted to take time to get myself right.”

“This past Wednesday we both agreed to get an annulment. It’s in writing…in text messages as well.”

Griner says her plan to move forward is, “…Emerge myself in basketball. Get myself better and get the team better.”

The Phoenix Mercury player who is currently on suspension for a domestic violence incident with Johnson adds, “…And count down these next six games ’til I get back on the court.”
